MIASA is a company specialising in the design and manufacture–by means of aluminium injection–, mechanisation and assembly of light components for the automotive sector.

Founded in 1968, the company has become a global benchmark in the development of parts for transmission systems and the leading provider of tier-1 and tier-2 parts to front-line clients such as Ford, Renault, PSA, Land Rover, Opel, Scania, Magna Powertrain and GFT. It currently has two production centres in Spain and one in the United States, which respond to the geographical needs of its principal customers and markets.

The company’s activity is based on complete vertical integration, covering the whole production cycle: from calculating and designing the products, to testing them for subsequent mass production.

MIASA’s medium- and long-term strategy includes diversification within the automotive world, with new clients and new products. It has recently broken into the HGV sector, both in Spain and in the United States. Moreover, an active effort is being made to move into new sectors, both within and beyond the automotive industry, where a capacity for innovation in the design of parts and production processes affords a competitive advantage.
